The Ceremony Night

Magnus POV

The last guest left at 2:17 AM.

Magnus watched his mother’s town car disappear around the corner, then closed the penthouse door and leaned against it, exhaling for what felt like the first time in twelve hours.

The commitment ceremony had been perfect. Fifty people who loved them, vows that made everyone cry, rings that caught the light every time Magnus moved his hand. But now the apartment was quiet, the caterers were gone, and Magnus was finally, finally alone with his partners.

His husbands, in every way that mattered.

“They’re gone?” Nico’s voice came from the hallway, hopeful and impatient.

“They’re gone.”

Nico appeared in the doorway, still wearing his ceremony suit—charcoal gray, perfectly tailored, absolutely sinful on his compact frame. But his tie was loose, his top button undone, and his dark eyes held a heat that made Magnus’s blood pressure spike.

“Good.” Nico crossed the room in three quick strides and fisted the front of Magnus’s shirt, pulling him down. “Because I’ve been waiting to get you out of this suit for six hours, and I’m done being patient.”

The kiss was fierce and demanding—Nico taking what he wanted the way he always did, tongue sliding against Magnus’s with practiced expertise. Magnus groaned into it, his hands finding Nico’s hips, lifting him easily.

Nico wrapped his legs around Magnus’s waist like he belonged there. Because he did. He always had.

“Bedroom,” Nico gasped against his lips. “Now. Jax is waiting.”

Magnus didn’t need to be told twice.

* * *

The super-bed had been transformed.

Someone—probably Jax, the secret romantic—had scattered rose petals across the dark sheets. Candles flickered on every surface, casting warm shadows across the walls. And Jax himself was propped against the headboard, his jacket discarded, his shirt open to reveal the broad chest Magnus had been obsessed with for over a decade.

“About time,” Jax said, but his voice was soft, his eyes drinking in the sight of Magnus carrying Nico like he weighed nothing.

Magnus deposited Nico on the bed and stood back, taking them both in. His partners. His husbands. The two people who had turned his carefully controlled life into beautiful chaos.

“Do you have any idea,” Magnus said slowly, working his tie loose, “how hard it was to keep my hands off you two all day?”

“Tell us,” Nico demanded, already working on Jax’s remaining buttons. “In detail.”

“During the vows.” Magnus pulled his tie free, let it fall. “When you promised to love me forever, Jax—I wanted to kiss you so hard you forgot your own name.”

Jax’s breath caught. “Magnus…”

“And you.” Magnus pointed at Nico. “When you said I was the best thing that ever happened to you two—I wanted to bend you over the nearest surface and show you exactly how mutual that feeling is.”

Nico’s pupils went wide and dark. “Fuck.”

“That’s the plan.” Magnus shed his jacket, started on his shirt buttons. “We have all night. No practice tomorrow. No obligations. Just us.”

“Then stop talking,” Nico said, “and get over here.”

* * *

They’d done this dozens of times now—learned each other’s bodies, mapped every sensitive spot, discovered exactly what made each of them fall apart. But tonight felt different. Sacred, somehow. Like they were sealing promises with their skin.

Magnus kissed Jax first, slow and deep, ten years of wanting distilled into every stroke of his tongue. Jax melted into it the way he always did—going pliant and willing, trusting Magnus to take care of him.

“I love you,” Magnus murmured against his lips. “I’ve loved you for so long.”

“I know.” Jax’s voice was thick. “I love you too. Both of you.”

Behind them, Nico made an impatient sound. “If you two are done being disgustingly romantic, some of us are dying over here.”

Magnus laughed against Jax’s mouth and turned to find Nico had stripped himself naked while they weren’t looking. He was sprawled across the bed like a challenge, all golden skin and lean muscle and a cock that was already hard and straining.

“Impatient,” Magnus observed.

“Always.” Nico spread his legs in invitation. “You gonna do something about it, or just stand there?”

Magnus exchanged a look with Jax. They’d talked about tonight, planned it in whispered conversations while Nico was in the shower. A gift for all three of them.

“Actually,” Magnus said, shedding the last of his clothes, “we thought we’d try something different tonight.”

Nico’s eyes narrowed. “Different how?”

Jax moved behind Nico, pulling him back against his chest. “You’re always taking care of us,” he said, pressing a kiss to Nico’s shoulder. “Tonight, we’re taking care of you.”

“I don’t need—”

“Nico.” Magnus knelt on the bed, crowding into his space. “Let us worship you. Please.”

The please did it. Nico’s resistance crumbled, his body going soft against Jax’s chest.

“Okay,” he whispered. “Okay.”

* * *

They took him apart slowly.

Jax held him from behind, one hand splayed across his chest, the other wrapped around his cock in a loose grip that was more tease than relief. He whispered praise into Nico’s ear—so beautiful, so perfect, ours forever—while Magnus worked his way down Nico’s body with his mouth.

Collarbone. Chest. The ridge of his hip that always made Nico squirm.

“Magnus.” Nico’s voice was wrecked already, his hips twitching against Jax’s hold. “Please.”

“Please what?” Magnus pressed a kiss to the inside of his thigh. “Tell me what you want.”

“Your mouth. Please.”

Magnus obliged.

He took Nico deep in one smooth motion, swallowing around him while Jax’s hand fell away to give him room. Nico’s reaction was immediate—back arching, hands fisting in the sheets, a broken moan spilling from his lips.

“That’s it,” Jax murmured, his own voice rough with want. “Let go for us. You’re so good, Nico. So fucking perfect.”

Magnus worked him relentlessly, using every trick he’d learned over the past year—the twist of his tongue, the pressure at the base, the way Nico lost his mind when Magnus hummed around him. Above him, he could hear Jax continuing the stream of praise, could feel Nico shaking between them.

“I’m—fuck, I’m gonna—”

Magnus pulled off just before he tipped over. Nico made a sound of pure frustration.

Magnus.”

“Not yet.” Magnus pressed a kiss to his hip bone. “We’re not done with you.”

* * *

They rearranged themselves with the ease of long practice. Nico on his hands and knees, Magnus behind him, Jax in front—the configuration that drove all three of them wild.

Magnus worked Nico open slowly, reverently, two fingers then three while Jax fed Nico his cock in shallow thrusts. The sounds Nico made—muffled and desperate around Jax—went straight to Magnus’s core.

“Ready?” Magnus asked, positioning himself.

Nico pulled off Jax long enough to gasp, “Yesterday.”

Magnus pushed in.

The tight heat of Nico’s body was overwhelming, even after all this time. Magnus had to pause, breathing hard, fighting the urge to just take. But this wasn’t about taking. This was about giving—showing Nico exactly how much he meant to them.

“Move,” Nico demanded, pushing back against him. “Magnus, move.”

He did.

The rhythm they found was perfect—Magnus thrusting deep while Nico took Jax in his mouth, all three of them connected, all three of them building toward something explosive. Magnus watched Jax’s face, saw the way his eyes kept fluttering closed, the way his hands trembled where they were buried in Nico’s hair.

“I love this,” Jax gasped. “I love us.”

“Forever,” Magnus agreed, angling his hips to hit the spot that made Nico keen around Jax’s cock. “We have forever.”

Nico shattered first—coming untouched with a cry that vibrated through Jax, who followed moments later with Magnus’s name on his lips. Magnus held on through both of their orgasms, watching them fall apart, and then finally let himself go, spilling into Nico with a groan that came from somewhere deep in his chest.

They collapsed together in a sweaty, satisfied pile, limbs tangled, hearts pounding.

“Holy shit,” Nico mumbled into Magnus’s chest. “That was…”

“Yeah.” Jax pressed closer on Magnus’s other side. “It really was.”

Magnus pulled them both in, one arm around each of them, and let himself feel it—the weight of two bodies against his, the warmth of their breath on his skin, the knowledge that this was his life now. Not stolen moments or secret touches, but this. Every night. Forever.

“I have something to tell you,” he said quietly.

Nico lifted his head. “If you’re about to say something sappy, I should warn you I’m emotionally compromised and might actually cry.”

“It’s sappy,” Magnus confirmed.

“Damn it.”

Magnus smiled and pressed kisses to both of their foreheads. “I spent ten years being afraid to reach for what I wanted. I thought wanting too much was dangerous. That if I asked for everything, I’d end up with nothing.” He tightened his arms around them. “But you two taught me that love doesn’t work like that. It doesn’t divide when you share it. It multiplies.”

“Magnus.” Jax’s voice was thick.

“I’m not done.” Magnus took a breath. “I have two Stanley Cup rings now. A championship, a legacy, everything I ever dreamed of professionally. But none of it means anything compared to this—to waking up with you two every morning, to building a life together, to knowing that no matter what happens on the ice, I have you waiting for me at home.”

Nico was definitely crying now, silent tears tracking down his cheeks. “I told you not to be sappy.”

“You love it.”

“I love you.” Nico wiped his eyes. “Both of you. More than I ever thought I could love anything.”

“Same,” Jax whispered. “God, same.”

They lay there in the candlelight, three men who’d found something rare and precious and worth fighting for. Outside, the city sparkled with life. Inside, the only thing that mattered was this—their tangled limbs, their matching rings, their shared future.

“Round two?” Nico asked after a comfortable silence.

Magnus laughed. “Give me twenty minutes.”

“I can work with that.” Nico’s grin was wicked. “Jax, you’re up first this time. I want to watch Magnus take you apart.”

Jax made a sound that was half groan, half anticipation. “You two are going to kill me.”

“What a way to go,” Magnus said, and kissed him.

They had all night. They had forever.

And Magnus intended to make every moment count.
