Five rules. No feelings. Strictly educational. The rules lasted about a week.
Jax Moreno is gaming royalty — 3 million subscribers, a golden retriever smile that could power a city, and a secret that’s eating him alive. At twenty-four, he’s never been with anyone. Not because he doesn’t want to — because his body won’t cooperate. Every touch feels wrong. Every date ends the same way. Something is broken, and he doesn’t know how to fix it.
Caleb Whitfield is his roommate, co-streamer, and the most controlled person Jax has ever met. He’s also been in love with Jax for three years and hiding it behind coasters, cold showers, and architectural-grade emotional walls. When Jax finally confesses his secret after a drunken night in their kitchen, Caleb offers a solution: he’ll teach him. Five rules. Stays in the bedroom. No kissing. No catching feelings. Don’t talk about it.
The problem is that Caleb has already caught feelings. The problem is that Jax’s body works perfectly — it was just waiting for the right person. The problem is that 3 million subscribers are watching their stream chemistry change in real time, and the fan edits are getting dangerously close to the truth.
When a viral clip captures a moment they can’t explain away, Jax and Caleb face an impossible choice: deny everything and keep the arrangement safe, or tear up the rules and risk the friendship, the brand, and the only person who’s ever made the other one feel whole.
THE OFFLINE SESSIONS is a high-heat MM contemporary romance featuring a golden retriever streamer who’s never been touched, his ice-cold roommate who’s been touching him with coasters for three years, a viral fan edit that changes everything, and a love story that 3 million subscribers saw coming before they did. It contains explicit content, bi awakening, praise kink, and a happily-ever-after that breaks every rule.
The lesson was supposed to be about sex. It was never about sex. It was about the boy who put coasters under glasses at 3 AM because he didn’t know how else to say I love you.

The thing about Jax Moreno is that everybody loves him.
This is not an exaggeration. It is a quantifiable, data-supported fact. Three point two million YouTube subscribers. One point eight million Twitch followers. A Discord server with ninety-three thousand members who have, over the past four years, generated approximately eleven terabytes of fan art, reaction compilations, and clip montages set to songs Jax has never heard of. His face has been screen-printed onto unofficial merchandise in at least fourteen countries. There is a fan account dedicated exclusively to cataloguing every time he laughs on stream, organized chronologically, tagged by intensity (chuckle, giggle, full wheeze, and the rare, coveted parking-garage laugh that happens maybe three times a year and generates its own trending hashtag).
Jax knows all of this because Caleb tracks it.
Caleb tracks everything. Caleb has a spreadsheet — multiple spreadsheets, actually, an interconnected ecosystem of Google Sheets that maps subscriber growth against content type, cross-references engagement metrics with posting schedules, and contains a tab labeled “Sentiment Analysis” that Jax has never been allowed to see. Caleb is the reason their channel has grown 340% in two years. Caleb is the reason they have a manager, a merch line, and a sponsorship deal with an energy drink company that neither of them actually drinks. Caleb is the architect. Jax is the content.
This is the arrangement. This is how it works. And it works — objectively, measurably, by every metric Caleb has ever tracked — perfectly.
Except for the part where Jax is twenty-four years old and has never had sex.
