Two coworkers. One cabin. Zero self-control.
Ben Carter is the project manager who runs his life by spreadsheet. Charming, reliable, and so deep in the closet he doesn’t even know the closet exists. He’s spent thirty-two years performing straight so convincingly he almost convinced himself — until a snowstorm traps him in a cabin with the one man who makes the performance impossible.
Liam Park is the sharp-tongued copywriter who’s been watching Ben roll his sleeves up in Monday meetings for two years and hating himself for wanting what he can’t have. Out, confident, and carrying the scar tissue of a man who swore he’d never again be someone’s secret.
When a company retreat goes sideways and a blizzard strands them together — one bed, no cell service, too much whiskey — a dare turns into a kiss. The kiss turns into a confession. And the confession turns into the kind of sex that rewires everything Ben thought he knew about himself.
Back in the office, they try to keep it secret. Tuesday nights. Locked doors. Separate exits. But the gap between who Ben is in the dark and who he performs in the light is widening — and when Liam draws the line, Ben has to decide: go back to the safe, beige, half-lived life he’s always known, or become the man who walks through the front door.

Chapter One: Mandatory Fun
The alarm went off at 5:45, but Ben had been awake since 5:12.
He’d already run through the day in his head twice—driving time, check-in window, the agenda Dana had emailed last week with the subject line Team Synergy Summit: Mandatory Attendance, Mandatory Enthusiasm. He had his bag packed by the front door: three days’ worth of business casual, a pullover for the bonfire they’d inevitably be subjected to, a charger, a backup charger, and the pitch deck he’d been quietly revising for two weeks on his laptop.
Associate director. The slot had been open since Rivera left in September, and Dana hadn’t named a replacement. She was watching. Ben knew she was watching because Dana didn’t do anything by accident, including scheduling a company retreat at a mountain lodge three hours from civilization in the middle of November.
He showered, shaved, put on a clean henley and jeans because this was technically a casual event and he wasn’t going to be the guy who showed up in a blazer. Poured coffee into his travel mug, locked his apartment, and was on the highway by 6:30.
The drive was easy. Podcasts, light traffic, the city thinning out into suburbs and then into the long, forested stretch toward the mountains. Ben liked driving. Liked the structure of it—stay in the lane, follow the signs, arrive at the destination. Most of life should be that simple.
His phone buzzed in the cupholder. Mom.
Brenda’s daughter Amy is newly single! Very pretty. I’ll send you her Instagram. She volunteers at an animal shelter!
Ben hit the side button to kill the screen and took a long sip of coffee…

Paint Me Yours — A scene TOO HOT for Amazon
Ben and Liam are painting their apartment together. The walls aren’t the only thing getting covered. Body paint, drop cloth sex, and the filthiest, most joyful scene in the series — because claiming each other never gets old.
