Three gamers. One stream. An audience of thousands — and a love nobody planned for.
Ava “Vexed” Moreno’s streaming career is dying. Sixty-three days until she loses partner status, and every metric is pointed at the grave. When a rising streamer named Dane “Rook” Holloway duets one of her clips and makes it trend, her boyfriend Nico — the quiet, brilliant mod who runs her entire backend — proposes a collab that changes everything.
The chemistry is immediate. The audience wants more. So the three of them make a plan: subscriber-only 18+ streams, negotiated in writing, with boundaries and safe words and a contract none of them expect to survive contact with real feelings.
But the camera catches what the contract can’t contain. Nico discovers he wants to watch — and participate. Dane discovers he wants to stay — for the first time in his life. And Ava discovers that the control she’s built her entire identity around is the thing she needs to surrender to keep the two men she’s falling for.
When a leaked clip threatens to destroy everything — their channel, their privacy, their fragile triad — they’ll have to decide: is this content, or is it real? And can three people who met for an audience learn to love without one?

Chapter One: Numbers Don’t Lie
The dashboard didn’t care that I’d cried last night.
That was the thing about analytics. You could pour three years of your life into a channel, sacrifice sleep and relationships and any concept of a weekend, and the graph would still just sit there, sloping down and to the right like a ski jump into an open grave.
Average concurrent viewers: 412. Down from 1,900 eleven months ago.
Sub count: bleeding out at a rate of about two hundred a month.
Partner status review: sixty-three days away.
I closed the laptop, and the click of it sounded like a coffin lid.
“You’re doing the thing,” Nico said from the doorway of the office. He had two mugs of coffee and that maddening calm he wore like a hoodie — soft, familiar, impossible to argue with.
“I’m not doing a thing.”
“Based on this.” He pulled his phone out of his pocket, thumbed it open, and set it on the desk in front of me like he was serving me papers.
The clip was already playing. A duet, split-screen, and on the other side of the frame was a guy I half-recognized — dark blond, sharp jaw, backwards cap, the kind of easy grin that made you feel like you’d already told him a secret…
