Two roommates. One gym crush. Zero chance of staying casual.
Noah Greene and Jamie Park have the perfect arrangement. Best friends. Roommates. The kind of friends-with-benefits situation where nobody catches feelings, nobody asks questions, and nobody acknowledges that Jamie’s arm around Noah’s waist at 3 AM means anything more than body heat.
Then Luke Morales walks into their gym with dimples that should be illegal and a grin that makes Noah forget his own name. When they invite him home for one night, the chemistry is instant, the sex is incendiary, and the morning after is supposed to be simple.
It’s not simple.
Luke keeps coming back. Noah can’t stop wanting him. Jamie is falling for both of them and saying nothing. And the “arrangement” — the safe, labeled, commitment-free arrangement — is crumbling under the weight of feelings none of them know how to name.
But Luke has been the third before. The last time, he was told he wasn’t enough. The last time, he walked away with nothing but a suitcase and a scar he still carries. If Noah and Jamie want him — really want him, not just in their bed but in their life — they’ll have to prove it. With words. In public. For real.
And Noah, who has spent his entire adult life calling love an arrangement because calling it what it really is means risking everything — Noah is going to have to say the terrifying words first.

Chapter One: The View from the Outside
Luke had a problem.
It was six-foot-something, Korean-American, and currently doing bicep curls in a sleeveless shirt that had no business being that tight. And its best friend—lean, tattooed, and absolutely lethal in a pair of black joggers—was spotting it with the kind of casual physical intimacy that made Luke’s mouth go dry.
He was staring. He knew he was staring. He adjusted the incline on his bench and pretended to be very focused on his phone between sets, which would have been more convincing if his phone weren’t upside down.
Chapter 1 continues on the live page — full prose deployed in content. See RFOM_Chapter_01.md for the complete text.
