A small setup with plenty of tension
The scene can be funny, awkward, tender or charged. The appeal comes from the contrast between ordinary logistics and feelings the characters have not quite addressed. Sharing a bed does not have to lead immediately to physical intimacy; sometimes the important shift is a conversation or the comfort of falling asleep beside someone.
One bed and forced proximity
